Terms of service

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms are between you and AstraPartners LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“Astra Partners”, “we”, “us”). Part A applies to anyone using this website. Part B summarizes the terms of our advertising service for law firms.

Where a firm has signed an advertising services agreement and criteria sheet with us, that agreement governs the service, and it prevails over this page if the two differ.

1Who we are

Astra Partners is an advertising company. We run advertising that invites people who have been injured to call us, screen those callers against criteria set by participating law firms, and transfer qualified callers live to a firm’s intake line. We are not a law firm. We do not give legal advice, we do not recommend or endorse any lawyer, and we are not a lawyer referral service. Nothing on this website creates an attorney-client relationship.

2Part A · Using this website

By using this website you agree to these terms. You agree not to:

  • use the site for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent;
  • submit someone else’s details or false information on our forms;
  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it, or scrape it by automated means;
  • copy or reuse our content, name or marks without our written permission.

The content of this site belongs to us or our licensors. It is general information about our service, not legal, financial or professional advice. We work to keep it accurate, but it may change without notice. Links to other sites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

3Part B · The advertising service

We provide law firms with exclusive, inbound, live-transferred calls from people who dialed our advertising and asked to be connected with a firm. For each firm we agree in writing, before its first call:

  • the practice areas, states and counties it serves;
  • the criteria a call must meet to be billable (see below);
  • the hours its intake line answers live, and the number calls go to;
  • its price per qualified call and its plan.

Each call is transferred to one firm only and is never resold. Where agreed, a firm has exclusivity in a county for a practice area.

4Fees

Firms pay a flat advertising fee per qualified live call, set in advance. The fee is the same whether or not the caller hires the firm. It never depends on a caller signing, on the outcome or value of any case, or on any fee the firm earns, and we never take a share of a legal fee.

  • Commit: the firm prepays advertising credit, and each qualified call is drawn from it at the agreed rate.
  • Flex: no prepayment. Qualified calls are invoiced weekly, payable within 7 days, by card or ACH on file.
  • Introductory calls: a new firm’s first 10 qualified calls are not charged. Calls that fail the billable-call standard don’t count toward the 10. One introductory block per firm.

Prices are set per practice area and county and confirmed in writing before the first call. Credits and refunds are explained in our Credits and refunds policy.

5The billable-call standard

A call is billable only when all six of these hold, judged on the recording:

  1. The caller dialed in and consented to the transfer and the recording.
  2. The caller is in a state and county the firm serves.
  3. The incident is within the statute of limitations and the caller reports an injury (and any further criteria agreed for the practice area).
  4. The caller has no lawyer for this matter.
  5. The transferred call connected to the firm for at least the agreed minimum length.
  6. It is not a duplicate of a call already delivered to the firm within the agreed window.

A call that fails any test is credited. A call is never credited because the caller did not hire the firm.

6The firm's responsibilities

  • It is licensed, or works with licensed co-counsel, in every state it asks us to serve.
  • It answers transferred calls live during the agreed hours.
  • It makes every legal decision, including whether to take a case, and gives callers all legal advice. Our screeners collect facts only.
  • It complies with the rules of professional conduct and attorney-advertising rules that apply to it, and approves any advertising run in its own name.
  • It pays our invoices on time and keeps caller information confidential and secure.

7Our responsibilities

  • We generate inbound calls only. We do not cold-call, text or message accident victims, and we do not buy or use call lists.
  • We record every call and disclose the recording at the start of the call.
  • We screen callers against the firm’s written criteria and route by neutral, disclosed criteria such as location, case type and availability. We never recommend a lawyer.
  • We give the firm access to the recording of every call delivered to it.
  • We comply with the laws that apply to our advertising and calls, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state privacy and call-recording laws.

8Term and termination

Either party may end the service as set out in the firm’s agreement. Either party may also end it at once if a change in law or professional-conduct rules makes the arrangement unlawful or improper in a state. On termination, the firm pays for qualified calls already delivered, and unused prepaid credit is handled as our Credits and refunds policy describes.

9Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We do not promise any number of calls, that any caller will hire a firm, or any case result. Except where the firm’s agreement says otherwise, the website and the service are provided “as is”, and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the firm paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Each party will defend and indemnify the other against third-party claims caused by its own breach of these terms or of the law, as set out in the firm’s agreement.

10Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in that state, unless the firm’s agreement provides otherwise. Before starting any claim, each party will first try in good faith to resolve it by talking to the other.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes do not alter a signed agreement unless both parties agree in writing.
